The HomeShare program connects people with space to rent in their homes with those in search of affordable housing.
Rental rates in Kitsap County have been rapidly increasing, and many working people, those with disabilities, students, and seniors are unable to afford housing. At the same time, many homeowners could benefit from rental income, help around the house, and companionship.
The HomeShare program conducts background and reference checks on all participants, as well as interviews to help determine needs and preferences in a shared living situation.
