First Month’s Rent Assistance
Fishline can help eligible clients who have difficulty paying all of the “up-front” fees when renting a new place to live.
The general rent assistance program offers a co-payment option that aids client facing eviction from their current residence. Client must have an eviction notice in order to qualify for this program.
One time rental assistance for those experiencing a financial crisis. Includes mortgage, lot rent, clean and sober housing and home share arrangements.
Our services for our homeless clients are handled through the Housing Solutions Center at Fishline. Fishline works with various venues including cooperating motels to provide from two to five nights of emergency shelter for the homeless, depending on the situation.
Alternative Housing Options
Fishline has three Alternative Housing Options programs: the HomeShare Program, the RV Living Program, and the Boarding House Referral Program.
Fishline’s program in which someone with an extra room in their home is matched with someone looking for a room to rent, thus sharing all or part of their home for mutual benefit. Fill out a HomeShare Application and you will be connected with our facilitator who will work with you to find a compatible home sharing match among our program participants. RV Living Program
This program has three elements including Donate an Rv; Host an RV (temporarily sited on host property); and Sponsor an RV (permanently sited at a mobile home park). These offer opportunities to house peopel in a self-contained unit temporarily or for the long term.
Boarding House Referral Program
This program seeks to establish a relationship with property owners who are interested in using their rental properties as boarding houses for people seeking a room to rent.

This program provides safe parking for up to five cars for single women who are temporarily living in their vehicles. This program is for single women only and is case managed. Our staff can help locate other housing options if you have children.
