Fishline will re-open regular hours Tuesday, January 21. Market hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Fishline’s next volunteer orientation will be held January 31st from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. No pre-registration necessary – just show up! Orientation is held upstairs in the Client Services Center conference room. There’s no need to prepare or bring anything. Orientation is an introduction to our organization and an overview of the positions we have available to volunteers.

Thank you for the gifts you have shared with Fishline in 2019! We are so thankful for your generosity. Year end offerings may be made online here or by mail (PO Box 1517, Poulsbo, WA 98370) until December 31st.

Again this Christmas Season, Fishline Foodbank and Comprehensive Services will be offering our “Christmas Child” program. We invite the community to join us in making the holidays special for families in North Kitsap and help fulfill Christmas wishes for our local children and youth. Without the community’s help many children may not otherwise experience the holiday spirit of gifts.

The Christmas Child program provides parents an opportunity to list 3 wishes and 3 needs on a holiday gift tag. These tags are distributed throughout the community on Giving Trees at local businesses and churches. Shoppers choose a tag, purchase items from the list and return them unwrapped to the tree where they found the tag. Fishline collects and distributes the gifts to the families. Last year nearly 400 children were recipients of holiday gifts through the Christmas Child program. We also encourage gifting experiences aligned with the child’s interests.

Giving Trees go up Monday, Nov. 25 and gifts are due back at their locations December 9^th.
