As the cold weather months are approaching, it’s crucial that we keep a well stocked inventory of supplies for our homeless clients. These items can help our community’s most vulnerable stay comfortable and warm during the fall and winter season.

We are collecting the following new and gently used items:

Sleeping bags
Four person tents
Camping mats
Warm/water resistant coats
Rain gear
Backpacks and duffel bags
Flashlights
Warm socks
Hats
Gloves
Scarves
Hand/feet warmers
Thermal underwear
Shoes and boots
Ziplock bags
Sweaters and flannels
Watches
Toiletries and toilet paper
Tarps
Large water jugs

These items can be dropped off from October 1 to 31, at the following locations:

Poulsbo City Hall
Poulsbo Athletic Club
Kingston High School
North Kitsap High School
Sharenet

Fishline is looking for some help from a professional architect who is willing to donate their services for a simple project. We’re hoping to construct several internal, half-walls within our administrative office to create another work space and need someone to help us with the design and layout of that! The food bank and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 3 at 10am.

Fishline’s School Supply program is accepting donations for the 2019 school year now through August 16th.

Each year Fishline’s School Supply Program provides children in need with basic school for supplies for the upcoming fall.  The cost of sending students back to school adds to family budgets that are already stretched thin and some are unable to purchase items needed for their children. We greatly appreciate your efforts in helping us meet our goals this year to provide school supplies for those children .

• Loose-leaf paper, college and wide-ruled

• Plastic supply boxes
• Washable color markers
• Pens (blue and black)
• Pens (red)
