FISHLINE’S 2022 ADAPTED VERSION OF THE STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE

by | May 2, 2022 | News

North Kitsap Fishline Food Bank & Comprehensive Services will be participating in the Letter Carriers’ Food Drive on Saturday, May 14th. It’s just going to look a little different than in previous years.

To help ease the challenges of delivering donations, we’ll be accepting donations at three drop-off locations this year between 10am-2pm. Community members can bring their non-perishable items to the Poulsbo Post Office, Poulsbo Farmers Market, and to the main Fishline campus. Upon arrival at one of these locations, simply look for a pop-up tent and Fishline volunteers. They will help collect your donations! Below you can find a list of Fishline’s most needed items.

Most Needed Items:

Honey, jam/jellies, chili, ravioli, ramen, can fruit, condiments, honey, stews, SpaghettiOs, fresh fruit & veggies, flour, granulated sugar, condiments (mustard, ketchup, mayo, BBQ sauces, etc.) salad dressings, non-soda drinks, water, and cat food.

If you have questions about drop-off locations and times, feel free to call us at (360) 779-5190 or email [email protected]. Fishline is located at 19705 Viking Way NW, Poulsbo, WA 98370.

We are grateful to postal and rural letter carriers and the community for your efforts in helping us stamp out hunger this year. These items will help meet the immediate needs of the people we serve here at Fishline Food Bank & Comprehensive Services. We’ll announce on our social media a total poundage amount after the event. Thank you!
