In December 2022, 532 children received gifts due to the generosity of North Kitsap residents and businesses. We anticipate serving more families in 2023!

Through the Children’s Holiday Help program (formerly Christmas Child) parents will receive “Holiday Bucks” to be used at local shops. This program helps both Poulsbo businesses as well as families in the community.

How do I sign up?

Fishline clients who reside in the North Kitsap School District can enroll in this service and pick up Holiday Bucks between December 4th to 8th from 10am-7pm. Children must live in Bangor, Hansville, Indianola, Keyport, Lofall, Kingston, Port Gamble, Poulsbo, Suquamish, or are experiencing homelessness. Each family will receive $100 in Holiday Bucks per qualified child to spend at the participating local businesses below. Please see the guidelines to the right.

How can I help?

Donations to support the Children’s Holiday Help program can be made by visiting our donation page here. Please choose an amount to donate and then select “Children’s Programs” from the dropdown menu.

What businesses are participating?

The Children’s Holiday Help program is supported, in part, by members of the Poulsbo Yacht Club. We hope you will attend their Lighted Ships Parade on December 9th. It begins at 5pm at the Poulsbo waterfront.

We are also very thankful to have also received a grant to support the program from Puget Sound Energy (PSE).

Big thanks to the local businesses listed below for their participation in the Children’s Holiday Help program:
