Fishline is committed to standing beside families during times of uncertainty.

Our market is open to everyone—regardless of residence—to help ease the burden of rising costs. If you or your spouse have recently lost WIC or SNAP benefits, or experienced furlough, or are a government employee currently not receiving pay due to the shutdown and you live or work full-time within the North Kitsap School District or on Bangor base or are currently unhoused, Fishline is launching Enhanced Navigator Services to support you.

Beginning November 3rd, call Fishline at (360) 779-5190 to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be available starting November 10th and continue through the end of the month. During your visit, our trained navigators will assess your eligibility for additional assistance as part of our ongoing mission to ensure access to essential resources.

To schedule an appointment, please be prepared to provide:

  1. Verification of benefit loss (one of the following):
  • SNAP enrollment paperwork and proof of benefit suspension
  • WIC enrollment paperwork and proof of benefit suspension
  • Furlough decision letter
  1. Proof of dependents (dated within the last 12 months, one of the following):
  • Free or reduced lunch registration at NKSD
  • DSHS benefit or award letter
  • Tax return (current or previous year)
  • Court decree

We understand that many families seeking help may be doing so for the first time. Please know—you are welcome here. Our team is ready to walk alongside you with compassion and care.

If you’re able to support our mission to help families navigate these difficult times, please consider donating. Visit www.fishlinehelps.org to learn more and contribute.
