Title: Front Desk Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for our Food Bank and Comprehensive Services Center where Fishline and other Providers collaborate to assist people demonstrating a need for crisis intervention and/or financial assistance. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate as part of a team, and the ability to provide excellent, respectful service to people from diverse backgrounds.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Greets incoming visitors, determines reason for the visit, and refers to the appropriate provider for assistance
- Answers incoming calls and routes calls to the appropriate staff, takes messages in the absence of staff
- Registers clients for Fishline Services
- Schedules client services appointments
- Schedules food pick-up or delivery appointments (temporary service as a result of Covid-19)
- Assists walk-in clients for emergency services or crisis intervention
- Provides referrals to other agencies
- Accepts monetary and in-kind donations and provides receipts to donor
- Manages the schedule and training for client services volunteers
- Collaborates with the Volunteer Coordinator regarding volunteer needs
- Completes clerical tasks and projects as needed
- Completes opening and closing procedures and maintains resource center in lobby
- Complies with best practices related to Covid-19 protocol
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree plus one year of work experience or high school diploma plus two years of work experience
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn new programs
- Operate Office Equipment
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills

- Able to sit, type, and operate office equipment.
